- Scope of Services
- We specialise in the off-car cleaning and testing of DPF, FAP, and SCR filters.
- We do not provide removal or refitting services. Customers are responsible for delivering filters to us (directly, via courier, or through a partner garage).
- Each service includes:
- Pre-cleaning inspection and flow test (mbar reading)
- Cleaning process using MET technology
- Drying and final flow test
- A written or digital report with before-and-after results
- Customer Responsibilities
- If a filter is delivered with pre-existing damage (e.g., cracks, melted substrate, oil contamination, metal debris), this will be recorded and may limit the effectiveness of cleaning.
- Service Outcomes
- Our process is designed to restore flow and reduce backpressure, but not all filters can be fully recovered.
- Some filters may remain non-functional due to irreversible internal damage.
- In such cases, the cleaning service fee remains payable, as the work (inspection, cleaning, and testing) has been carried out in full.
- Pricing & Payment
- Standard cleaning starts from £150 per filter (additional charges may apply for oversized or heavily contaminated units).
- Trade and fleet pricing is available on request.
- Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Turnaround Time
- Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours from receipt of the filter.
- Same-day service may be available for local customers, subject to workload.
- DPF MaxCare is not liable for delays caused by courier services or third-party workshops.
- Collection & Delivery
- Free collection and return are available within 10 miles of Yeovil.
- Customers outside this area are responsible for courier costs.
- DPF MaxCare is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit – tracked and insured courier services are strongly recommended.
- Warranty & Liability
- We warrant that all services are carried out professionally and with due care.
- We do not guarantee that every filter can be restored to working condition.
- DPF MaxCare is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to filters
- Damage during removal/refitting by third parties
- Costs associated with vehicle downtime, diagnostics, or failed MOTs
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided.
- Cancellations
- Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.
- Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full.
- Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the English courts.
