Refund and Returns Policy

At DPF MaxCare, we take pride in offering professional DPF cleaning services using advanced equipment and certified testing. Our goal is to provide every customer with transparent results, technical proof, and a professional service. 

 

🔧 Nature of the Service 
Our service consists of: 

  • Cleaning the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF/FAP/SCR) using specialist MET technology 
  • Performing before-and-after flow testing with calibrated equipment 
  • Providing a technical report showing the results in millibars (mbar) 

Please note: DPF cleaning is a service, not a guarantee that every filter can be restored. Some filters may be irreparably damaged (e.g. melted substrate, internal collapse, heavy oil contamination, or metal fragments). In such cases, even after full cleaning procedures, the filter may remain non-functional. The service fee still applies, as the cleaning and testing process has been carried out in full. 

 

💰 When Is a Refund Possible? 
Refunds may be considered if: 

  • The service was not delivered as described or agreed in writing 
  • Payment was taken in error 
  • Your booking was cancelled by DPF MaxCare without offering a suitable alternative 

Requests must be made within 7 days of service completion and include: 

  • Full name and contact details 
  • Invoice number 
  • Brief description of the issue 

 

🚫 When Refunds Are Not Available 
Refunds will not be issued if: 

  • The DPF was already damaged, melted, or beyond repair, and this was confirmed in the service report 
  • No improvement was possible due to severe contamination or internal structural failure 
  • The customer provided incorrect vehicle or filter information 
  • The filter was damaged during removal or reinstallation by a third party 
  • The customer missed the appointment or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice 

 

🔁 Service Reattempt 
In certain cases, we may offer a re-cleaning at no extra charge if our assessment shows this could reasonably improve the outcome. 

 

Refund Processing 
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method. 

 

📦 Shipping & Returns 
If you ship your DPF to us: 

  • You are responsible for courier/return costs 
  • We recommend using a trackable service 
  • DPF MaxCare is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit
